HISTORY

The UNDERWATER EP is Captain Pyrite's second online album. C-HAWK affectionately refers to this EP as "Captain Pyrite LITE." These five songs were recorded in stripped down versions in order to feature the incredible vocal talents of Sarah Nielsen.

And live the stories few can tell. Rise to the challenge of the unknown. As we sail through life learning to be free. Come sail with me. Where our future awaits before us. Feel the waves wash over us. As we sing so merrily Helms-A-Lee. Our dreams were yesterday. And now today stands tall. All our seasons have drifted free. Our time is now. THE DREAM

Tim comes inside from out working on his car. Inadvertently he gets grease on his guitar. And in an empty room twenty thousand scream his name. He knows he’s going to make it as long as he follows his dreams. Jamie walks the streets of New York alone with no one to hold her hand. She thinks back to her divorce and wonders how love could get so sad. But she’s going to be okay with all new dreams to have. And for the first time in her life, she’s completely free. Fly a little or Sail the Seas. From atop my mountain. I see and endless fleet of dreams. Sometimes the dream sleeps, but don’t lose faith. When hope reawakes it the dawn of a new day. Allie’s pregnant again and she knows there’s no money to be had. She does her best to raise her children without a dad. But she’s going to be okay even though she can’t follow the dreams of her own. She’ll experience the dream through the eyes of her children as they grow. Michael sits in an empty house remembering how it used to sound. When his house was alive, when his family was around. But he’s going to be all right even if you can’t undo what’s been done. Following faith he has let the healing begun. Fly a little or Sail the Seas. From atop my mountain. I see and endless fleet of dreams. Sometimes the dream sleeps, but don’t lose faith. When hope reawakes it the birth of a new age. Follow faith, do what right. Sacrifice, abide your time. Hope floats and so does the dream. If you don’t kill it. Your dream will become reality. The Dream.

I hope there’s more than just sex. Because all I hear are the arguments. There must be some kind of middle ground. Where found are the sounds. Of happiness. But there’s just one thing I have to ask you. One question I’d like to know. Does she make you laugh? I’d just like to ask, in your behalf. Does she make you laugh? I know you told me she is the one.
